"Hold On I'm Coming" has been the main theme song of the Trump campaign. Most famously sung by Sam and Dave, which is the best version. David Porter died in 1988 but Sam Moore allowed Trump to use it. He likes Trump for the tax break he gets from him. I think it should be retitled "Let Go, I've Sold Out", except, except, it was written by the song riding team of Issas Hayes and David Porter who wrote the song. They have the rights to the song, not Sam Moore. So on August 11, 2024, the estate of Issac Hayes sent a strongly worded letter to Trump saying he cannot use this song. On the last night of the Democratic National Convention, they used this song as walk up music, they got permission from the estate. Issac Hayes would be proud. As far as I am concerned, it is back to being "Hold On, I'm Comin'. I am posting here because the Same and Dave version has the comments turned off, for obvious reasons.
